Cameo Legal was founded in 2022 by Attorney Christina V. DeFeo. Christina began her legal career in solo practice, focusing on immigration law and estate planning. After almost a decade as General Counsel for one of the largest insurance brokerage agencies in Connecticut, Christina worked at Nedder & Associates in Darien, Connecticut. At Nedder & Associates, Chrisina focused on complex estate planning matters, probate matters ranging from termination of trusts to estate administration and conservatorships, real estate, corporate law and contract drafting and review. Returning to solo practice in 2022, Christina combines a vigorous client-focused initiative with an unbridled enthusiasm for crafting, dissecting, and analyzing the language of the law. She credits her father, a former Probate Judge, for motivating her to become an attorney with his constant insistence of “We can argue about this after you graduate from law school” during her teenage years.
Christina graduated from Colgate University in 2002 with a degree in English and Spanish. She was a goaltender for the Women’s Ice Hockey team and held various executive positions for the Delta Tau Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta. After teaching Spanish for two years at Cushing Academy, Christina graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 2007. While at Syracuse, she volunteered as Chapter Advisor for the Alpha Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta and as a Student Legal Advisor for Vera House, Inc. She was a founding member of the Syracuse University Women’s Ice Hockey team.
Christina is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. Christina is an avid New York Rangers fan and a proud Colgate University alumna. In her spare time, Christina enjoys playing ice hockey, doing New York Times Sunday crossword puzzles, and traveling anywhere that is warm and sunny. She lives in Danbury with her three children and two dogs
